PART 2 — THE RETURN OF THE POWERFUL FATHER

PART 2 — THE FATHER’S ARRIVAL

Santiago didn’t move.

For the first time in years, the man who ruled every room he entered… froze.

My father stepped fully into the mansion.

Ricardo Salazar.

No raised voice. No rush. Just controlled danger.

Behind him, two men in black suits entered silently, scanning every corner.

Santiago forced a laugh.

“This is a private residence.”

My father didn’t look at him.

He looked at me first.

Bruised.

On the floor.

Pregnant.

Something inside his expression shattered—but his voice stayed calm.

“You touched my daughter.”

Santiago scoffed.

“She’s my wife.”

That was the mistake.

My father finally turned his eyes to him.

“No,” he said quietly. “She was your warning.”

The temperature in the room dropped.

Beatriz Rivas tightened her grip on the wine glass.

For the first time… her smile disappeared.

PART 3 — THE PAPER TRAIL

Within ten minutes, the mansion was no longer theirs.

It belonged to silence and surveillance.

My father’s men moved through the house like ghosts.

Hidden cameras were removed.

Documents collected.

Phones copied.

Santiago tried to regain control.

“I built this empire!”

My father finally stepped closer.

“No,” he said. “You inherited confidence. That’s not the same thing.”

Then a folder was thrown onto the marble table.

It opened.

Psychiatric reports.

Forgery.

Custody fraud.

My name stamped across every page like a prison sentence.

Santiago’s expression tightened.

Beatriz finally spoke.

“She was unstable. It was for the child’s safety.”

I laughed.

For the first time in months.

A broken, exhausted sound.

“You forged my sanity,” I whispered.

My father didn’t look at the documents.

He looked at them.

“You didn’t just abuse my daughter,” he said. “You planned to erase her.”

A pause.

Then:

May you like

“That’s a different kind of crime.”
