Chapter 6 - THE BROTHER IN THE GRAVEAdrian had been dead for six years.

At least according to the Blackwood family.
But Elena's files suggested otherwise.
Victor remembered the warehouse fire.
The sealed coffin.
The private funeral.
The body identified by Dante.
Everything suddenly felt wrong.
They went to First Chicago Trust.
Elena had left a deposit box requiring two keys.
Lily had one.
Victor had the other.
Inside they found photographs of Victor and Adrian as children.
A flash drive.
A letter.
And a silver locket.
Before they could read everything, armed men attacked.
The vault became a battlefield.
Agent Reed was wounded.
Victor chased one attacker.
Lily followed.
Then the attacker removed his mask.
Dante.
Alive.
He slammed the vault shut and escaped.
A phone began ringing inside Elena's box.
Lily answered.
Adrian appeared on screen.
He was holding Ethan.
"You have something that belongs to me."
Lily's blood froze.
Adrian looked exactly like Victor.
But colder.
He explained the truth.
They were not brothers.
They were identical twins.
Separated by their father.
One raised as heir.
One hidden.
Adrian had discovered the trafficking network.
Elena had worked with him.
He had disappeared to survive.
But he had made one unforgivable mistake.
He had used Ethan as leverage.
"You are no better than them," Lily told him.
Adrian looked at the child.
For the first time, guilt appeared.
Only briefly.
Then he smiled.
"Maybe."
The call ended.
Lily stared at Victor.
"You have a twin."
Victor looked toward the city skyline.
May you like
"Apparently."
And somewhere beneath Chicago, Adrian Blackwood was already planning his next move.
