Spring returned to Whispering Bay, bringing vibrant green meadows, blooming wild coastal roses, and warm ocean tides.
On a peaceful Saturday morning, Julian took Elara and Clara to the top of the coastal bluff overlooking the lighthouse—the exact spot where Julian had stood months ago when he felt most alone.

"Clara Vance," Julian said, his voice steady and full of devotion as he knelt down before her on the green grass. "You saved my heart and completed our family. Will you do us the honor of marrying me and sharing this life with us forever?"
Clara gasped softly, tears of pure happiness streaming down her cheeks. "Yes! Oh, Julian, yes!"
Elara cheered happily, jumping up and down on the grass! "Yay! Clara is going to be my mommy!"
Julian slid a beautiful, simple diamond ring onto Clara’s finger, standing up to pull her into a tender, passionate embrace. Elara wrapped her arms around both of their legs, making it a warm group hug under the clear blue coastal sky.
News of Julian and Clara’s engagement brought joy across the entire town of Whispering Bay. The townspeople insisted on hosting the wedding at the historic coastal chapel near the harbor, treating it as a celebration for the entire community.
Marcus, who had moved permanently to Whispering Bay to serve as the chief safety coordinator for the Blackwood Foundation, stood as Julian’s best man.
