Lily walked Elena down the aisle for part of the ceremony.
When Ethan saw them approaching, his eyes filled with tears.
The ceremony took place in the garden.
Under the old oak tree.
The same tree beneath which Ethan and Elena had once dreamed about their future.
This time, the dream became real.
Afterward, Lily ran between them.
“Does this mean we're officially a family?”
Ethan lifted her.
“We always were.”
