She watched everything.
Marcus approached.
“You did it.”
Victoria smiled.
“No.”
She looked toward Mia.
“We did.”
Marcus nodded.
“Your company is growing again.”
Victoria shrugged.
“That isn't what matters.”
He smiled.
“Still, your board would like you to know you're now the most influential woman in the industry.”
Victoria laughed.
“Tell them I'm busy.”
“Busy doing what?”
