He attended every doctor’s appointment, learned every detail of prenatal care, and personally built the new custom nursery alongside his construction team, hand-carving a wooden crib just as his father had done for him years ago.
On a cool autumn night, under a sky filled with brilliant stars, Maya gave birth to a healthy baby boy at St. Jude’s Private Hospital—the very hospital where Ethan had once vowed to protect Maya and Lily from Victoria’s evil.
Ethan sat beside the hospital bed, holding their newborn son wrapped in a soft blue blanket. The baby had a tuft of dark hair just like Ethan’s and calm, intelligent eyes that mirrored Maya’s.
"What should we name him?" Maya asked softly, her voice tired but brimming with profound peace.
Ethan looked at his wife, then down at his son, his heart full beyond measure. "Arthur," Ethan whispered softly. "Arthur Sterling."
