Chapter 7 - THE LIE Richard slowly turned toward Victoria.

Victoria's lips trembled.
"Richard, listen to me."
"You stood beside me at the hospital."
"I was protecting you."
"From what?"
She couldn't answer.
Richard looked down at Leo.
The boy was shaking.
Then Richard looked back at Victoria.
"You buried my son while he was alive."
The room erupted.
Guests whispered.
Phones appeared.
Security moved closer.
Victoria raised her voice.
"This is insane!"
But Richard wasn't listening.
His entire world had narrowed to one fact.
