She remembered a metal skyline model on his desk.
Inside it was a key.
That key opened a hidden cabinet.
Inside were ledgers.
Names.
Payments.
Bribes.
Every secret.
The conspiracy was larger than expected.
But Damien wasn't finished.
He sent men to the lake house.
They came at night.
Eight armed men.
Victor prepared to fight.
Lily stopped him.
“Give them the Victor they don't expect.”
Instead of violence, Victor used the house security system.
Fire shutters sealed the intruders into separate rooms.
Police arrested them.
One carried a list of names.
One name belonged to a police superintendent.
Another belonged to a judge.
The third appeared to be Marco.
Victor stared.
His head of security looked stunned.
“I didn't do this.”
Quinn found a burner phone in Marco's coat.
A message appeared:
THE NANNY IS THE LAST WITNESS. FINISH IT.
Everyone looked at Lily.
She realized something.
