"You wanted me."
Victoria laughed bitterly.
"You stole everything from me."
"I never had anything that belonged to you."
Victoria's expression cracked.
"Your family destroyed mine."
"No."
Isabella's voice was calm.
"You destroyed yourself."
Silas's men appeared.
Then Victoria saw something.
A tiny camera hidden in Isabella's coat.
Victoria understood.
This wasn't an exchange.
It was a trap.
She suddenly turned toward Silas's men.
"Your father plans to kill me too."
The men hesitated.
Victoria continued.
"He told me himself."
Silas had made one mistake.
He had underestimated how desperate a betrayed woman could become.
Victoria revealed the location of another safe house.
And in exchange, she asked for protection.
Mateo stepped out.
"You'll testify."
Victoria looked at him.
"And if I do?"
"Your life is spared."
She laughed bitterly.
"You really think I deserve mercy?"
Mateo answered:
"No."
He looked at Isabella.
"But she does."
