Chapter 20 - A New EmpireSix months later.

The Vance Estate had been completely rebuilt, bigger and stronger than before. The rose garden was blooming once again, bright crimson flowers filling the air with a sweet scent.
On the manicured green lawn, baby Leo—now a chubby, healthy ten-month-old infant with bright dark eyes—was crawling happily across a soft velvet blanket, chasing a golden retriever puppy.
Sitting on a marble bench nearby, Julian Vance was laughing—a genuine, rich sound that echoed across the quiet estate. He wore a simple white linen shirt and jeans, looking relaxed and deeply at peace.
Maria glided across the grass toward them, wearing a sun dress that caught the warm summer breeze. She carried a tray with lemon tea.
Leo squealed with delight when he saw her, crawling as fast as his little legs could carry him toward Maria.
Maria laughed, setting the tray down on a garden table and scooping the baby boy into her arms. "Look at you! You're getting so fast!"
Julian stood up, walking behind Maria and wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her and Leo close to his chest. Leo giggled, reaching out his tiny hands to grab Julian’s nose.
"He gets his speed from his mother," Julian teased softly, kissing Maria’s cheek.
Maria turned her head, looking into Julian’s dark, loving eyes. The days of undercover disguises, tactical gear, and shadow wars felt like a lifetime ago.
"So, Mr. Vance," Maria murmured playfully, leaning her head against his shoulder. "No corporate meetings? No international mercenaries? No explosive traps?"
Julian looked out over his sprawling estate, holding the two people who meant more to him than all the billions in the world.
"I have everything I will ever need right here," Julian whispered.

He leaned in, pressing his lips to Maria’s in a soft, sweet kiss under the golden afternoon sun, while baby Leo clapped his tiny hands in pure joy.
The Vance legacy was no longer built on blood, deceit, and corporate power. It was built on love, unbreakable loyalty, and a family that had conquered the darkest shadows to reach the light.
