The estate at Blackwood Ridge had been completely cleared of the burned ruins of Sterling Manor. In its place stood a breathtaking, eco-friendly modern architectural retreat surrounded by rolling green hills, blooming apple orchards, and crystal-clear ponds.
Inside the bright, sunlit nursery of the new home, Clara stood near the crib, gently swaying a sleeping baby girl in her arms.
Ethan stepped softly into the room, wearing a simple linen shirt and dark trousers. He wrapped his arms around Clara's waist from behind, resting his chin gently on her shoulder as they both gazed down at their newborn daughter: Evelyn Sterling Vance.
"She has your eyes," Ethan whispered softly, kissing Clara's cheek.
"And she has your strength," Clara smiled, leaning back against him.
Downstairs on the broad stone patio overlooking the valley, Marcus and Evelyn were sitting together over morning coffee, laughing quietly as they read the morning papers. Sterling Global had been completely restructured into a transparent, philanthropic corporation dedicated to restoring justice and supporting victims of corporate crime.

"Do you ever miss the old life?" Clara asked softly, turning around in his arms to look up at him.
Ethan smiled warmly, brushing his thumb across her cheek. "I never had a real life until I found you, Clara. The empire my mother built was made of ashes. But what we built... this is real."
