Back at Shaker Heights, the mood was triumphant yet peaceful. The heavy dark estate had officially become a beacon of light. Harper was running around the backyard garden, chasing butterflies with her new puppy, her joyful laughter ringing clear through the warm summer air.
Mia stood on the stone patio, watching her daughter with a peaceful smile that touched her eyes. Dominic walked up behind her, wrapping his arms gently around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Mia turned in his arms, resting her hands on his chest, looking up into the eyes of the man who had transformed from a feared kingpin into her protector and soulmate.
"We did it together, Dominic," she said softly. "You gave up everything you used to be to build something real with us. I’ve never been prouder of you."
