Chapter 10 - The Woman Behind CassandraJulian nearly destroyed the house searching for Toby.
Police flooded the property.
Helicopters circled overhead.
Then Cassandra called.
Julian answered.
"Where is my son?"
Cassandra laughed softly.
"You still don't understand."
"If you hurt him—"
"Listen."
A recording played.
Toby's voice.
"Dad?"
Julian's heart stopped.
"I'm here, buddy!"
A man's voice interrupted.
"Julian."
Victor Hale.
"You want your son back?"
"Yes."
"Then bring Evelyn."
Julian looked toward the doorway.
Evelyn stood there.
She was crying.
"I'll go."
Julian shook his head.
"No."
She stepped closer.
"He's my son too."
Victor spoke again.
"Come to the old Vale estate."
The call ended.
Julian looked at Reed.
"Find Victor."
Reed nodded.

"I know where he is."
